TALK TOOLS CERTIFICATION TRACK, TETHERED ORAL TISSUES (TOTS)

TalkTools® was created to provide the best Oral-Placement Therapy (OPT) techniques, training, and tools to clients, therapists and parents. Our therapy techniques add a tactile component to feeding and speech therapy, enabling clients to “feel” the movements necessary for the development of speech clarity.

TOTs includes lingual restriction -- also known as ankyloglossia -- but can also be a restriction of the frena of the lips and cheeks, by a band of tissue. Lip and tongue ties can affect the way an individual eats, speaks and swallows.

BRAIN INJURY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA - KENTUCKY CHAPTER BOARD MEMBER

The Brain Injury Association of America – Kentucky Chapter (BIAA-KY) works to increase awareness of brain injury, provide information, resources, and support for individuals who have sustained brain injuries and their families, and advocate for prevention and improved funding and services across the state of Kentucky.
We are available to offer education, outreach, information and resources, and more.
